HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN AND THE ROYAL PARTY :The opening of the new American Air Museum at Duxford, in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. We show the Queen's aircraft as it lands at Duxford Cambs together with the ceremonies of the British and the United States Air force with speeches by her Majesty and Charlton Heston at the grand opening and this is followed by a fly-past of World War II vintage aircraft.

The B-17 Flying Fortress, P51 Mustangs and P-47 Thunderbolt followed by four F-15 aircraft of the U.S. Air Force and flypast of P-51, Spitfire and Hurricane. We then tour around the museum looking at these marvellous old aircraft set out around the museum floor and also at the aircraft in life-like suspension from the museum ceiling.

The Museum Opens The public enter the Museum for the first time

The fairwells as the Queen tours around the outside in an open landrover. The video ends with the Royal party flying off in the Royal aircraft.
